I have been writing lately about many things a webmaster should do in order to get ranked well in search engines. This time I would like to write about something that webmaster should avoid doing. Black hat SEO consists of tactics that attempt to trick search engines in various ways. It might be invisible text stuffed with keywords or perhaps link farm spamming. The reason to avoid black hat SEO is that it is unethical and if you are caught by search engines, then your rankings might suffer. Overall, it is simply not worth it, but I am sure that most webmasters are not really considering using such techniques.
